Established in 2017, this event is to commemorate Rachel Carson’s publication of “Silent Spring” that warned of the dangers of pesticides. Carson has written several books about her time researching in Woods Hole and is a celebrated researcher.
This weekend will consist of several events and activities great for the whole family to enjoy. Try a tour through the Rachel Carson exhibit at the Woods Hole Historical Museum; or discover at the outdoor splash lab and take photos with our actress playing Rachel. Lawn games, a movie at the Redfield Auditorium and even pub crawl in the evening for the grown-ups. Don’t forget to catch the “Anything-But-A-Boat Race” too!
