North Falmouth

Falmouth’s most northerly village marks the beginning of the 11-mile Shining Sea Bikeway. Travel all the way to Woods Hole while passing Great Sippewissett Marsh, the shady woods of Salt Pond, and the stunning coastal scenery of Trunk River, and refuel along the way at one of the hip wine and oyster bars. Grab something at a quintessential Cape Cod general store and hit the historic Bourne Farm for a sunset walk or picnic lunch.

With many hidden harbors and secret bays along Buzzards Bay, waterfront homes here look up towards the Cape Cod Canal and catch the steady southwesterly breeze in summertime.  Locals enjoy the nearby Chart Room for Mudslides and lobster rolls on the harbor, Somerset Creamery for ice cream and Bucatino’s Wine Bar for more sophisticated dining.
